Colourful Birds and Flowers
This week we are going with Michelle Morin, an illustrator from the United States who leaves her love for nature reflected in her inspiring multi-colored works.
Today she lives in New Hampshire, on the East coast of the United States, a region of many forests and lush nature. She studied art at the College of Art in Massachusetts.
Many years of her life she spent in horticulture and gardens, which led her to this close relationship with plants and wildlife, which is always the protagonist of her works. Stylized birds and flowers comprising a huge variety of meticulous detailed designs are constantly alternated as the main motif.
Her goal is to transmit beauty and show nature from her own artistic angle, using textures, patterns and color, a lot of color. She creates watercolor and gouache compositions and she does not stop getting inspiration in the trips she makes, always looking for her ally in nature.
