Vamos hoy con Clara Elsene Peck, una artista estadounidense que vivió y trabajó en plena Edad Dorada de la Ilustración en America, que se sitúa entre 1880 y 1930. Nacida en 1883 se desplegaron desde muy joven sus grandes dotes para la ilustración a la que después le dedico toda su vida, la que finalizo en 1968.

Clara Elsene Peck es conocida por sus entrañables ilustraciones, mayoritariamente de mujeres y niños, muchas veces ubicadas en entornos de cuentos y leyendas. Con un gran dominio del detalle, nos presenta muchas obras con escenas de cuentos de hadas. Su extensa obra fue acogida con gran entusiasmo por el publico americano de aquellos días, y ya en vida gozó de una importante fama.

Su vida desarrolló entre artistas - su marido también lo era - y sus fabulosas ilustraciones nos alegran la vista aun hoy, transportándonos a mundos de mitos y leyendas. En Internet pueden ver mas poniendo su nombre.

Let's go today with Clara Elsene Peck, an American artist who lived and worked in the midst of Golden Age of Illustration in America, which is between 1880 and 1930. Born in 1883, her great talent for illustration was unfolded from a very young age. She dedicated all her life to it. It ended in 1968.

Clara Elsene Peck is known for her endearing illustrations, mostly of women and children, often placed in environments of stories and legends. With a great mastery of detail, she presents many works with scenes from fairy tales. Her extensive work was received with great enthusiasm by the American public of those days, and already in life enjoyed an important fame.
