Subtle Japanese Art
Ando Shinji is a Japanese artist who is a master in the art of engraving. He was a student at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and his art is currently present in many museums around the world. He also makes many exhibitions globally.
His engravings are very delicate. With soft colors and fine lines he creates flowers, plants and animals, which have a refined and subtle beauty.
Bicolor works predominate, well black and white, but also green and gray. On the few occasions that it uses more colors, these remain in the same range. Botany is where he gets his many creative ideas.
To see more about these subtle engravings, browse with his name on the Internet, since I couldn't find a website of his own, however he is mentioned on several art websites.
Last week we introduced the Russian doll sculptor Natalia Loseva.
